WHO ARE WE & WHAT DO WE DO

First off, we are NOT the Centers for Disease Control.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way...

We are a group of comedians and dancers who combine sketch, physical comedy, and dance along with word play, music, and overall goofiness to entertain our audiences. Our show is a "super high energy laugh riot" that is perfect for all ages.

OUR GOALS

From T-Rexes to tutus, CDC will delight you with our goofiness!
Our goals are to tell you stories, to make you laugh, and to bring you joy.

We aim to have fun and funny in all we do! If we're not laughing, why would you?!

OUR STORY

Two T-Rexes walked onto a stage and performed a Jurassic parody of Dirty Dancing's Time of Our Lives... and the audience went wild!

This T-Rex piece was a part of a Second City Training Center class performance that led to the creation of our comedy dance group. We spent over three months creating our first group piece ("Tiny Dancer" - complete with homemade hand puppets in pink tutus!) which debuted in June of 2015. Six months later, after hours and hours of creating new pieces, we performed a full-length show at the 2016 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. And we haven't stopped since!

We have entertained sold out crowds at iO Chicago, Stage 773, The Athenauem Theatre, and appeared for five straight years at the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.  We have performed at various comedy festival halftime entertainment for The Chicago Wildfire and the Windy City Rollers, shared laughs with schools in and around Chicago, and we once found ourselves on stage at House of Blues.

We are Comedy Dance Chicago!
